My Phobias

I am recently hooked on the site StumbleUpon. And if you haven't been on it, you should definitely, absolutely go on! It's the ultimate websurfing site lol.

Anyway, while using StumbleUpon to "stumble upon" random sites, I came across a site listing (you guessed it) phobias!

And so being the loser I am, I read every single one and compiled a list of my very own phobias! Take a look:

  • Achluophobia (fear of darkness)
  • Acrophoia (fear of heights)
  • Altophobia (fear of heights)
  • Anuptaphobia (fear of staying single)
  • Aphenphosmphobia (fear of being touched, no not "touched touched", you silly pervs!)
  • Arachnephobia/Arachnophobia (fear of spiders)
  • Ataxophobia (fear of disorder of untidiness)
  • Atelophobia (fear of imperfection)
  • Batophobia (fear of heights)
  • Belonephobia (fear of pins and needles)
  • Chiraptophobia (fear of being touched, again NOT "touched touched")
  • Coulrophobia (fear of clowns)
  • Haphephobia/Haptephobia (fear of being touched, must I emphasize again what it does NOT mean?)
  • Macrophobia (fear of long waits)
  • Pupaphobia (fear of puppets)
  • Trypanophobia (fear of injections)

Anyhoo, yes I know many of the phobias in that list are just synnanyms of other phobias, but that just shows how acutely important it is to emphasize the point that THOSE ARE MY FEARS, goshdarnit! (Yes, I said that.)

So, now I ask whoever wasted five-ten minutes of their life reading this, what are YOUR fears/phobias? And don't lie, everyone has phobias. Indeed, those that admit to their fears are, to me, the most courageous! It takes strength to admit weakness! And anyway, the health class textbooks say that those that act high and mighty do that only to mask their insecurity. =)

Yes I am a loser and I actually listen in class. MWAHAHA!

Yet my grades never seem to get better... Hmm there is a flaw there!

Okay, I'm gonna go now since I'm getting totally off topic. =)
